Title
Groundwater recharge capacity
Abstract

Groundwater recharge capacity was assessed with different types of data such as lithology, geomorphology, topography (slope inclination, topographic position index, topographic wetness index, roughness index, curvature index, drainage density, linement density) soil (texture, depth, permeability), average annual precipitation and land use (Corine land cover). Data was reclassified and ranked according to the least to the most favorable conditions to weathering, using a likert scale. Subsequently a fuzzy overlay was applied and the final map was validating using soil clay content data. Data is showed is log-normal transformed. The model had an acceptable validation (r2=0.52).
